The Caswell County School System's Department of Accountability is fundamental to the internal controls that serve as oversight of the administering of the statewide and district educational assessments. These assessments include: Beginning of Grade 3 Reading (BOG3), Read-to-Achieve (RTA), End-of-Grade (EOG), End-of-Course (EOC), North Carolina Final Exams (NCFEs), EXTEND1, ACT, ACT Workkeys, College and Career Readiness Alternate Assessments (CCRAA), WIDA-Access for ELLs, district benchmark assessments, as well as pilot and field testing. These assessments are used to measure student progress and to meet district, state and federal accountability requirements.
