    The Board of Education voted on May 10, 2021, to allow the public to attend meetings in person.  Covid guidelines will continue to be followed.  The board meetings will continue to be live-streamed via Zoom.

    Caswell County Schools NC Pre-K

    Welcome Pre-K new students:


    Child must be 4 years old by August 31, 2021


    Pre-Kindergarten registration packets are available at all elementary schools.

    Please go to the school in your district to obtain a packet or you may contact our

    department at 336-694-4116 ext. 71.  Forms are also located on the website under Pre-Kindergarten.

  • Updated guidance by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS)

    Strong Schools NC Public Health Toolkit (K-12) has updated the requirements for wearing face coverings during recess and outdoor physical education activities. Based on the updated requirements, face coverings are not required for students while at recess or during outdoor physical education activities. Physical distancing of six feet must continue to be maintained. This change will go into effect Friday, May 14, 2021 and continue through the end of the school year.

    Parents must provide:  Parent/Legal Guardian Photo ID, A certified birth certificate, Proof of residence (such as current electric bill, etc.) and Immunization records

    Caswell County Schools (CCS) continues to monitor the outbreak of a respiratory illness caused by coronavirus called COVID-19.  Senior leaders along with Caswell County’s Health Department are actively in partnership discussing the latest updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of North Carolina. We are closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and stand ready to implement any specific guidance by our local, state, and national health officials.

    Caswell County Schools is happy to announce the launch of the “Say Something Anonymous Reporting System” (SS-ARS). This program, which fulfills the mandate requirement under 115C-105.51 of NC Law, teaches students, teachers, and administrators how to recognize warning signs and signals, especially within social media, of individuals who may be a threat to themselves or others and Say Something to a trusted adult or use its anonymous reporting system. Read more...

  • Board of Education Meetings:

    Effective June 2018 the regular meetings of the Caswell County Board of Public Education will be on the second and fourth Mondays of each calendar month.  The first meeting of the month will be held in the morning and an evening meeting scheduled on the second meeting of the month.  (BOE Policy # 205).

    All meetings will be held at the Central Office Building unless otherwise noted: 319 E. Main Street, Yanceyville, NC  27379.
