NEWS FROM THE NEST
Caswell County Schools continues to assess community health data as well as national and state safety guidelines to continue to make decisions that are best for the school community. As state guidelines are relaxed, Caswell County Schools is utilizing state decision making tools to assess local health data and collect information to make informed decisions about our District Learning Plans. The Caswell County Schools Board of Education will discuss whether to remain on Plan C or make a possible transition to Plan B at the September 28, 2020 Board Meeting. At this time, Caswell County Schools remains on Plan C; we are collecting information and preparing for a possible transition to Plan B. At a future date, if Caswell County Schools transitions into School Your Way: Plan B, students in grades Pre-K through 12th grade have the choice to either choose (1) TOTAL REMOTE LEARNING MODEL (called CCS Remote Learning Academy) five days a week OR choose the (2) HYBRID LEARNING MODEL of face-to-face with a teacher two days each week. The remaining three days students will be provided individual practice and enrichment learning opportunities away from school. We want to ensure we have up to date contact information as well as your input into which learning plan your child needs.
