Welcome to Mrs. Robinson's page!  Just a little bit about myself:  I worked for 19 years in Rockingham County from 1998-2017. In 2017, I joined the Oakwood staff as the Instructional Coach. 

This year it is with great enthusiasm and excitement that I am transitioning to the principal here at Oakwood Elementary.  As the principal of Oakwood, I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school community with amazing teachers, students, and families.  Our goal is to work together as partners to provide students with a rich learning environment.  Student success is attributed to the partnership and the relationships we build within our community.  

Our vision is to put our students first!  As educators, we discover how each child learns in order to differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles.  My hope is that all the students at Oakwood Elementary will LOVE school and know it is a place that is positive, safe, and caring, as well as a fun place to learn and grow.
