Hello. 

I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from high school, I attended Greensboro College for two years before transferring to Davis and Elkins College, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Technical Theater. Shortly after graduating, I took a job as a technical theater teacher at a private school in Delaware. I went on to teach in Maryland and Kentucky before getting my Master's in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix. While in Kentucky, a principal I previously worked for offered me a position as a gifted and talented (AIG) teacher. After accepting the job, I continued my education at Northern Kentucky University and earned my certificate in K-12 gifted and talented education. Since leaving Kentucky, I have worked in Danville, Virginia as an AIG language arts teacher and now, here at N. L. Dillard, as a seventh grade language arts teacher. I am looking forward to working with your child and sharing all the knowledge I have gained throughout my experience.
