Hello,

I'm Mr. Poindexter, one of the assistant principals at N. L. Dillard Middle School.

I've been in education for over 25 years. In that time, I taught in a K-6 private school, middle school, hospital/homebound settings, and high school. I was a special education teacher for most of my career and worked with students who had a variety of disabilities. Right before I came to Dillard Middle School, I was teaching math at Mount Tabor High School.

I am excited about being at Dillard Middle School. The staff, students, and parents have been great to work and learn from. My goal is to be fair and equitable to all students I meet and interact with on a daily basis. I want everyone's time at Dillard to be as productive as possible. When our students leave and go to high school, I want them to be prepared for the rigors of high school.
