Title II

Title II funds are used to increase the academic achievement of all students by helping schools and districts improve teacher and principal quality and ensure that all teachers are highly qualified. Funds support the development and implementation of programs to assist schools to effectively recruit and retain highly qualified teachers, principals, and specialists in core academic areas. These funds provide additional highly qualified teachers to reduce class size, as well as support for professional development, in order to enhance educational growth that will impact student achievement.
