How to Apply
Thank you for your interest in seeking employment with the Caswell County School System.
FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT
Administrative, Instructional, and Non-Instructional
1. Review Vacancies on the Caswell County web-page. Click here.
2. Complete the NCDPI online application. Click here.
3. Mail or email a copy of your letter of interest and resume to the site contact and the Human Resource Department.
The Interview and Employment Process
All interviews are arranged with selected applicants holding proper qualifications when vacancies occur. The Director of Human Resources will pre-screen applicants, select eligible candidates and forward the top 5 candidates, if applicable, to the hiring administrator/principal.
Certified Applicants holding a License should include the following:
- a signed copy of the online application,
- 3 reference letters signed or the surveys from the applicant on-line system (References from relatives or personal friends are not acceptable; letters must match references listed on the application),
- official transcripts,
- a copy of your NCSBE Required Exam scores,
- and a copy of your NC teaching license, out-of-state license(s), or proof of eligibility for a license.
Classified Applicants such as Teacher Assistants, Substitutes, Child Nutrition, Custodians, Bus Drivers should include the following:
- a signed copy of the online application,
- 3 reference letters signed (References from relatives or personal friends are not acceptable; letters must match references listed on the application), and
- any additional information such as transcripts, degrees, license, or certificates.
Persons who are interested in becoming Teacher Assistants or Substitutes can complete coursework through Alamance Community College's online program, Durham Tech or App-Garden. All programs should reward the applicant with a certificate. Please click on the link for details.

After interviewing selected candidates, the principal/hiring administrator and his/her interview team will make a recommendation to the Executive Director of Human Resources. All offers of employment are extended by the Human Resources Department.
