Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and its accompanying regulations prohibit the discrimination towards any individual on the basis of his/her disability. Accordingly, all employees of the Caswell County Schools are expected to adhere to School Board policy which prohibits discrimination on the basis of a disability. Any employees or parent who feels that he/she or his/her child has been discriminated against on the basis of a disability, should file a written complaint with the school division’s compliance officer. The written complaint should state in detail the basis of the complaint, the names of the persons involved and the dates of the specific complaint.
