My name is Jenise Best and I am proud to be joining the N. L Dillard family as an assistant principal. I am a native of Greensboro, North Carolina and attended Winston-Salem State University and Queens University of Charlotte, where I earned a B.A in History with a concentration in Secondary Education and a M.A in Educational Leadership. I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, INC and Kappa Delta Phi Honors Society. Over the course of my educational career, I have taught at both the middle and high school levels, served as a middle school athletic director and a MTSS Specialist. 

I am excited about being at Dillard Middle School. I believe that all students are capable when given the right tools. I am focused on equity and ensuring that the students here at Dillard receive what they need to be successful members of our community. Through collaboration, intentional focus and committment, I believe that we can make N.L Dillard the absolute best. 

My hobbies include spending time with my family, boyfriend and son. I am an avid North Carolina Tarheel and Carolina Panthers fan.
