Mr. Joshua Brumfield

My name is Joshua Brumfield and I am currently a physical education teacher and head football coach at Bartlett Yancey High School in the Caswell County School District.  
I graduated from Averett University with a BS in physical education.  I completed my master's degree in curriculum and instruction, from Averett University with certifications in Health and Physical Education. This is my third year at Bartlett Yancey High School. I teach Physical Education I (ninth grade requirement) and Physical Fitness (weight lifting). Prior to working at Bartlett Yancey, I taught at Dillard Middle School for 2 years. While at Dillard I was the head football coach and head basketball coach. Prior to Dillard, I worked in the athletic department and aquatics department at Hargrave Military Academy for 4 years.  I also worked for Pitsilvania County Schools in the exceptional student's department as well as Danville city parks and recreations. Certifications I currently have are personal training license,  certified strength and conditioning specialist, lifeguard instructor, and First Aid/CPR instructor through the Red Cross.
