Hi! I see you've found your way to my website - so maybe you want to know something about me? I've been at Stoney Creek for 12 years now, working as the EC/Resource teacher. I'm a native of North Carolina, but not Caswell County. I grew up in Stanly County and settled in the Greensboro area after college. After teaching middle school for 4 years, I settled at this little school and haven't left yet. :)

At Stoney Creek I do a little bit of everything. My primary role is providing instruction to children with disabilities and working with general education teachers on identifying accomodations so those students can better access the curriculum. There are approximately 20 students (currently) at Stoney Creek who I work with. Our numbers fluctuate from year to year, and on average I have around 25 students.

The children I work with range from having learning disabilities (in reading, math, and writing) to Autism, and everything in between. I find each student to be an individual with their own strengths and personalities. It's a great job, and there are very few other things I would want to do with my life. I go home each day knowing I'm making a difference.
