Hello! My name is Barbara Jane Williams and I am super excited to have your child in my classroom this year!

It is going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries. This will be my 6th year teaching 5th grade at South! This will also be my 3rd year of just teaching Math & Science! Fifth grade is the BEST grade to teach. Students learn how to be independent and grow into amazing human beings. In my class, your child will be cared about. I value their ideas, thoughts, and actions. I believe that children are the future and that we must teach the change that we want to see in the world. I look forward to getting to know you and your child and for an amazing year of growth!
