Hey everyone! I am Justin Scruggs, or "Mr. S" as many of the students call me and I have been the Physical Education teacher at South Elementary since 2006.  I graduated high school from Bartlett Yancey before getting an associates degree at Rockingham Community College.  I then received my Bachelor of Science from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a major in Exercise and Sports Science.  In 2009, I completed my Masters Degree from North Carolina A&T in Adapted Physical Education and in 2011 I successfully became National Board Certified.  I just recently renewed this certification in 2020.  I am married and have 5 wonderful children.  I love teaching P.E. and I am looking forward to working with your children!
