"Every child has a different learning style and pace. Each child is unique, not only capable of learning but also capable of succeeding."
~Robert John Meehan
I am South's Instructional Coach. This is my 17th year at South and in education. I had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten for 10 years. As an Instructional Coach, it is my desire to work alongside teachers to continually refine the school's practice in the classroom, which ultimately has a positive impact on student learning and growth. The focus of my work with teachers takes place within classrooms and PLCs (Professional Learning Communities), using data and student work to analyze progress and collaborate to make informed decisions about instruction that is differentiated and needs-based.
Away from the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my husband, son, daughter and our puppy Zoey. I enjoy reading, listening to music, going to museums, fishing and swimming.
