Each class comes to the library once per week for class and they learn how to care for books, how to use a library the correct way, researching skills, a love of reading, and so much more. My passion is enriching students with information they didn't know before coming to see me. I love hands-on projects and watching how excited children become when they realize that they really do love reading!

The students check out 1 book per week and must return the book to check out another.

    • PreK - Parts of a book
    • K-1st - Library shelf organization
    • 2nd - Library Destiny catalog
    • 3rd & 4th - Research skills

The rules in the library are simple; be kind, be respectful, and make good choices.

  • Library Projects
Donors Choose is a nonprofit organization that allows individuals to donate directly to classroom projects. These are the projects we've completely funded this year!
Diverse Books for the Library -  This included 26 books valued at $458 and included mostly award-winning stories to help diversify our library. There are also books included that will be a read-aloud going into a STEM project.
Sew Much Fun! - This is a STEM project and each grade level has a sewing project that corresponds with the curriculum being taught in the classroom. $543
Art for ALL! - A STEAM grant that consists of art supplies for the library. From paintbrushes to construction paper and crayons, we have so many supplies to go with our stories to make beautiful art. $292
