Students come to the library once per week for class and they learn how to care for books, how to use a library the correct way, researching skills, a love of reading, and so much more. My passion is enriching students with information they didn't know before coming to see me. I love hands-on projects and watching how excited children become when they realize that they really do love reading!

The students check out 1 book per week and must return the book to check out another.

In September, PreK-1 will be learning how to take care of books and find the right books for them and 2-5 will be focused on learning how to use the Dewey Decimal System and applying what they have learned to search and find resources in the library.

We love Battle! Our 4th and 5th grade students are invited to try out for the team. We will meet monthly and have our official team by January and start preparing for battle. Each elementary school in the county competes against each other for the title of Battle of the Books champions.
