Hello, my name  is LaShawn Parker and I am an 8th Grade Science teacher here at N.L. Dillard Middle School. I am a native of Caswell County. I graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School in 2009. I went on to receive my associate’s degree from Piedmont Community College with an Associate in Arts. Then I continued my education at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I graduated in August 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Sociology. GO SPARTANS! I am currently going to school for a business administration degree at UNCG. 

I have 2 children that I love dearly - Kayla is 11 and Seven is 3 years old. I have two horses and one dog. I enjoy singing, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, watching anime and spending time with my family. I also love to travel and visit new places. This is my fourth year teaching but my third year teaching at Dillard Middle School. I look forward to working with staff members as well as students.
