Welcome everyone! My name is Hannah May and I will be your child’s 6th grade ELA teacher this school year. I am so excited to have your child in my class and cannot wait to watch them grow their love for reading!

To start, I will let you know a little about myself! I am a UNCG graduate and hold a degree in Literature in Humanities and also a secondary in Health and Human Sciences. I have 6 years of experience teaching in a private Preschool and Kindergarten setting. This is my first year here at Dillard Middle. My husband and I have lived in Caswell for 8 years now. We have 3 children together, all boys, who also attend school in Caswell County.

This year our class will be diving into different novels, which include The Lightning Thief’, ‘Flush’ and ‘Bud Not Buddy’. We will use these to teach various learning standards throughout the year.
