GENERAL INFORMATION |
Under general supervision, the employee may perform a wide range of tasks to support the teacher's efforts, meet the needs of all students, and ensure the provision of quality instruction for all students. For example, the employee may provide one-on-one assistance with academics and behavioral problems and may provide small group activities. In addition, the employee assists the teacher with general housekeeping. The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling. In addition, the employee may participate in professional development opportunities. Possess and maintain a valid North Carolina Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License with school bus certification and a DOT Physical, preferred. Performs other related work as required. |

QUALIFICATIONS | A minimum of 48 semester hours of college coursework, an associate's degree or higher. |
